Mirage Dancer HF or as we call her Ringo is a unregistered appaloosa filly. She stands 15.1 hands as a 4 year old. We bought Ringo to buy, train, and sell. Her old owners named her Ringo because when she was born she had white rings around her eyes, she was also black with white spots. She has compleatly changed. When we give her baths you can see where her old white spots were. Ringo came to me as an unbroke yearling, never had a halter on let alone trailered. She was terrible to get in the trailer but we did it after about 3 hours. We took her home and in about 3 months she was halter broke. The next time we put her in the trailer she hoped right in I never really had to trailer train her she did it herself. She did the same thing with tying, she just pulled on it once and thought 'o I'm stuck' at that was that. Shes being my geanie pig, I tried out all different kinds of methods on her. She's turning out to be a great horse so far! She won 4th place at her first show in showmanship and 3rd in her first halter class! She did great. Ringo knows all the basics and even knows how to ground drive. I'm very proud of her. She has been started undersaddle and is doing great. With 4 rides under her belt she will soon graduaite from the round pen to arena. We have walked trotted stoped and backed on her. She gave us no fuse on the first ride and ever since she act like a pro. Sometimes not sure and stops to look up at you but the most she does is stop no buck or rearing. O did I mention that she has an amazing flowing trot! It is to die for! Its nothing like that I have ever seen!!! I think she will be and excellent english pleasure horse or even dressage she screams english. Though she has good scope over jumps and would be a good western horse. Can you All Arounder with spots!
This is some text from our add tells a little bit more about her.
Ringo is truly unflappable, for a baby. She has never made anything that we have showen her a big issue, she takes everything in stride. Ringo lunges both free and on line, she ground drives, baths clips, ties and trailers like a pro. We have shown Ringo in several schooling shows in halter/showmanship, she places well every time. She squares up pivots and is learning how to side pass. My mom has ridden her four times in a western saddle. She never bolted bucked or kicked while we started her she was an angel to start. We have walked trotted and backed on her in the round pen. Ringo was ponyed on the trails and was very relaxed about it. My friend even rode her on a short trail ride and she was GREAT! She’s good for both Farrier and vet, up to date on all shot and trims. We are looking for an experienced or maybe and intermediate rider/handler for her. I really DON'T want to sell her. I love her VERY much she is very sweet but has a very promonent Thoroughbred side and can be a bit silly. I hate to sell her and can't think of a price I can sell her for as she means so much to me. If you are intrested please make an offer. She is just sitting around doing nothing. She looks at me with those big brown eyes wanting to learn more. If you would like her to have 30 or 60 days undersaddle I know of a VERY good trainer who can put that time on her. He is VERY good with the starting horses. I could also bring her to more in-hand shows if her new owner wants me too. She is really fun to show.
