Toccata is out of Windsor NTF (now a gelding) and Tamara van de Bijvank now the first of only 2 hafi's (she just had a baby) in Hawaii. Toccata is the 'tank' on the farm! She is huge in substance but is nice 14.2hh. We first bought Toccata for my 9 year old little brother. Like most boys once she was here he wanted to ride my other mare!!! Well once she got her we weren't about to get rid of a perfectly good mare. Toccata was a dressage horse before we bought her and was never shown. She had an extremely hard mouth. So hard in fact it felt like there were bricks tied to the bit! She is now soft and can be ridden by anyone anywhere anytime at any discipline. She is the only horse I will hope on bareback in the pasture. I can even pony horses off of her bareback.
We took Toccata to the 05 classification in Bend Oregon at Cascade Gold Haflinger's. She was wonderful and Jennifer Rousseau thought she had the perfect head! Toccata brought home a purple ribbon and lots of hugs and kisses.
My best friend started showing her before we decided to breed her and she did very well in western walk trot. Toccata will does excellent in western once I can get around to finishing her.
We bred her last breeding season and she gave us a lovely baby girl. Please check the link above for more on Tanoka.
